Do you play an instrument?  Do you enjoy making a joyful sound?  If you answer yes to these questions then you are invited to join a new music ministry team at St. Mark’s.  We would like to create a folk/praise music team that would lead worship quarterly or do specific pieces from time to time.  It won’t be an every Sunday commitment.  All skill levels and talents accepted. This Sunday will be our monthly collection for the Kingston Partners in Mission Food Bank.  Donations can be left at the back of  the church. For example:

• Money * (your dollars contribute to higher purchasing power)
• Canned meat & fish
• Peanut butter, jam
• Stews, canned tomatoes
• Baby food, formula, diapers
• Pasta, pasta sauce
• Cereal
• 100% Fruit juice

* We have special envelopes for those wishing to donate financially.  Cheques should be made payable to the Partners in Mission Food Bank.

Please remember that this year, as in recent years, St. Mark's is providing an opportunity for parishioners to donate to the Change for Life Campaign of the Mea Centre, from Mothers Day through to Fathers Day.

Donations can ben made through cheques made payable to St. Mark's Church, but clearly designated to the "Change for Life Campaign".  The cheque can either be mailed to: 268 Main Street, Kingston ON K7K 6W4, or dropped into the offering plate on Sunday.

Donations to the Mea Centre through St. Mark's can also be made online through the "DONATE" menu on the church's website.  Please select "Mission and Outreach" in the "To:" drop-down menu, and enter "Change for Life Campaign" in the memo field. All designated donations received up to and including Father's Day, will be forwarded on by St. Mark's to the Mea Centre.  As with all donations through St. Mark's, a tax receipt will be issued at year-end.  

Parish Council will meet in the Parish Hall at 4:15 pm for its regular monthly meeting.

Parish Council meetings are open meetings and members of the congregation are welcome to attend.

Approved Minutes of previous Parish Council meetings are available at the Parish Office, upon request.

For the third year, St. Mark's is sponsoring a public Strawberry Social & BBQ to be held in the Parish Hall on June 27, from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm. This event is a great fellowship experience for the Parish plus a rare opportunity to bring/invite friends and neighbors as an introduction to our church.

The BBQ will be hamburgers/hotdogs with all the condiments. The dessert will be cake, ice cream and fresh strawberries. Vegan hamburgers, gluten-free buns, gluten-free cake, and dairy-free ice will also be available.
