The family invites friends to gather together today, Friday May 29, for a Funeral Service in Celebration of Maurice’s life to be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Barriefield at 1 pm. The Reverend Sandra Hounsell-Drover presiding. Interment will follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in Glenburnie.

This Sunday, being the fifth Sunday of the month, is our potluck lunch following the 10:30 service.

Parishioners are invited to bring lunch items on Sunday that we will share together, in lieu of the usual coffee time. A potluck is what it is: we take our chances and share whatever people bring including casseroles, cold meat, cheeses, salads, veggie platters, fruit platters and (hopefully) some light desserts.

Please plan to attend for some good food and fellowship. A rare chance to get to know those people in our Parish you haven’t had the opportunity to talk with. There will be coffee and tea too!

St. Mark's Book Club will meet at the home of Marie Warner (note change) at 2:30 pm on Monday, June 8 to review and discuss the book "The Power of Women".
