Change for Life Campaign

Change for Life Campaign

Please remember that this year, as in recent years, St. Mark's is providing an opportunity for parishioners to donate to the Change for Life Campaign of the Mea Centre, from Mothers Day through to Fathers Day.

Donations can be made through cheques made payable to St. Mark's Church, but clearly designated to the "Change for Life Campaign".  The cheque can either be mailed to: 268 Main Street, Kingston ON K7K 6W4, or dropped into the offering plate on Sunday.  Special envelopes are also available.

Donations to the Mea Centre through St. Mark's can also be made online through the "DONATE" menu on the church's website.  Please select "Mission and Outreach" in the "To:" drop-down menu, and enter "Change for Life Campaign" in the memo field. All designated donations received up to and including Father's Day, will be forwarded on by St. Mark's to the Mea Centre.  As with all donations through St. Mark's, a tax receipt will be issued at year-end.

Defibrillator Purchase

Defibrillator Purchase

Donations Requested

St. Mark's is seeking donations for the purchase of a portable AED (Automatic External Defibrillator)  This defibrillator would then be readily available to render assistance to parishioners and visitors to St. Mark's church, or parish hall, in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest.

Anticipated cost for an AED that would be suitable for St. Mark's is in the range $2,000 to $2,5000.

To date, a total of $1,530 has been raised.

If you would like to make a donation towards this potentially life-saving initiative, please make out a cheque payable to St. Mark's Church, with "Defibrillator" in the memo line.

A donation can also be made on-line, by clicking on "Donate", on the website menu,, selecting "General Fund" in the Fund pull-down menu, and adding "Defibrillator" in the memo field.
