Say Yes! to Kids
Say Yes! to Kids is a national peer-to-peer fundraising initiative of the Anglican Foundation of Canada (AFC) which is now in its second year. In 2021, AFC supporters in the Diocese of Ontario were some of the most generous donors to the first Say Yes! to Kids campaign. The 2022 campaign will run until Thursday, June 30. Two fundraising teams in our Diocese this year are: 1) St. Thomas' Kingston is raising funds for its Messy Church and to support Kingston Mayor Brian Paterson's fund for Ukrainian students studying in Kingston who may not have a home to return to when their semester is over. 2) St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Napanee is raising funds to send its small but mighty youth group on a long overdue annual retreat and supporting Morningstar Relief Mission's High School Lunch Program. For additional information, and an opportunity to donate to either of these initiatives, please click on the link below: For more infomation visit:

Kong's Night OutA Farce by Jack Neary - June 9-25, 2022 Featuring our own Julia Moore, this is the story of what happened in the hotel room next to the room where Ann (played in the 1933 movie by Fay Wray) was whisked out of bed and into the Manhattan night by King Kong. Myron Siegel is a low-end Broadway producer who desperately wants to be high-end. Trouble is, he has for his entire career been sabotaged by his archrival, who Myron has just learned has booked a theatre directly across from where Myron's potential bonanza, Foxy Felicia, is about to open. Nobody knows what he's up to, but it's BIG! Myron gathers his entourage—his sassy mother, his gangster henchman, his Hungarian backer and his wide-eyed niece straight off the bus from Buffalo—and concocts a plan to learn what the mystery show is about. He discovers that the show is about a monkey. A very large monkey. Tickets are sold through The Kingston Grand Theatre (click on Button below) All shows are Thursday to Saturday at 7:30pm (except the last Saturday, June 25 which is a matinee at 2pm).
