The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund

Are you interested in sustainable development, relief, refugees, global justice and in being part of a dynamic network of volunteers committed to social justice?  If so, then please take note that St. Mark’s is looking for a new PWRDF representative.  

It is an opportunity to learn about international development, social justice and humanitarian response and to be part of a ministry that has a large impact in Canada and around the world.  

As the PWRDF Rep your role is to strengthen and lift up PWRDF as a vital ministry within the parish.  We are looking for someone who can: 

• Create opportunities for parish educational events and activities.
• Plan for, order and promote the use of PWRDF resources.
• Plan and support PWRDF fundraising events in our parish.
• Encourage support for PWRDF campaigns and appeals.
• Liaise regularly with our PWRDF Diocesan Representative (Sophie Kiwala) and report on parish PWRDF activities. (Bi-monthly meetings with other parish reps).
• Work in consultation with the ministry team and Rev’d Sandra Hounsell-Drover
